Help Build Washington’s Bookworm

How long will our bookworm be? How many books can Washington students read from March 1 to 15? Get a bookworm body part from your teacher for every book you read during the first two weeks of March, write your name and the title of the book on it and return to your teacher. Watch our bookworm grow on the PTA bulletin board by the front office.

So far we have raised $25,000 for our Washington PTA!!! A big THANK YOU to all of the parent volunteers and families that helped to make the 2015 Run for Your Heart Jog-A-Thon a fun and successful event! Way to go, Explorers!!!

There is still time to donate! We are still collecting online donations until Monday, March 2nd. Just go to pledgestar  It is very easy to set up a donation page. It sends a personalized message such as "Dear Grandma & Grandpa" or "Dear Aunt Ruth."  And it emails a thank you note too!  So far we have raised $16,250 online!!!  You may also turn in cash or check donations to the front office. Thank you again for all of your support. We couldn't do it without your help. All funds raised for the Jog-A -Thon go directly back to our school!

Thank You Redondo Beach Rotary Club
