It is an incredible honor to serve as the proud Principal of Washington Elementary School. Washington balances high expectations for academic excellence with a deep commitment to the whole child. It is a place where social-emotional growth, joyful learning, meaningful traditions, and a strong sense of belonging are at the heart of everything we do.From our dynamic Dual Immersion program to strong, research-based instructional practices, our dedicated staff works tirelessly to ensure that every student is challenged, supported, and inspired. Our core curriculum is brought to life through differentiated instruction, hands-on learning experiences, and opportunities for collaboration and creativity. Special events, assemblies, and guest speakers enrich our classrooms and connect learning to the larger world.Washington is a true village—built on collaboration, inclusion, and care. I believe deeply in our community’s strength and in the partnerships between staff, families, and students that make this school exceptional. This year, we will continue building on Washington’s traditions of leadership, student voice, and inclusion, ensuring that every Explorer feels known, valued, and empowered to thrive.To our new families—welcome!
