Meet Sra. Proudfoot!

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself to each of you. My name is Tracy Proudfoot.  I graduated from California State University, Long Beach with a bilingual credential.  This is my fourth year as a classroom teacher and prior to this I have 15 years of classroom experience as a Teacher’s Assistant in a bilingual setting.  I have been in education for nearly 20 years!  I am a native Spanish speaker (from Argentina) and have taken several college courses in order to strengthen my Spanish reading and writing skills.  I believe strongly in the Dual Immersion program and its ability to help students become bilingual as well as biliterate.  

I enjoy all things nerdy. :) I am a big Harry Potter and Star Wars fan and enjoy reading on those topics (and others) as well as interactive games. I also enjoy dancing and am always finding opportunities to dance.
